The final part of this course will allow you develop your own psychological skills program.
Sports psychologists can do this in a number of ways:
- Measure and profile different psychological domains such as mood, motivation and anxiety and provide interventions based on that information
- Teach strategies to regulate thinking, emotional states and concentration
- Build psychological self-awareness and assist athletes when things go wrong such as injury and under-performance
- Facilitate team environments and build leadership and communication skills
